TEMPURA BATTER RECIPE



I like to eat tempura seafood and tempura vegetables. But...do not really know how to make it crispy...the one I did was soggy when it is cold..I found one that may work. Looks like very yummy and crispy.

Ingredients:
1 egg

1 cup iced water

1 cup all purpose flour

Preparation:

Beat an egg in a bowl. Add ice water in the bowl. Be sure that the water is really very cold. Add the sifted flour into the bowl and mix lightly. Be careful not to overmix the batter.
Then, you can deep the cleaned seafood or selected vegetables to be deep fried. Make sure the seafood is dried using the kitchen towel so that it will not soggy. Dip into the batter and fry until brown. Enjoy....
